Intense Ruby Red in Color, with Garnet Shades. Intense and Elegant Cherry, Ripe Fruit and Spices Aroma, with Scents of Vanilla, Tobacco and Licorice. Taste Full and Velvety, Soft and Enveloping.

The Amarone Riserva is produced only in Excellent Vintages. After a careful selection of Best Grapes, are following a Prolonged Withering and a Slow Fermentation. It Ages for more than 2 years in Oak Barrels and is completed after 18 months of Aging in Bottle.

A Wine for Meditation; a Leading Actor. It is traditionally paired with game and mature cheeses. For a very special sensory experience, it has to be tested in with Bitter Chocolate 85%.

Serve at a Temperature of about 18 ° C.

Uncork at least 4 hours before being drunk or Leave it for 1 hour and decant back in bottle before Serving.

Technical sheet

Soil: Dark, clayey and fertile with a high content of gravel, deep and drought resistant.
Grape varieties: 60% Corvina, 15% Corvinone, 10% Rondinella, 10% Oseleta, 5% Croatina.
Training system: Guyot, with 5000 vines per hectare. 8 buds per vine. Vine age: 15 years. Green cover of rows.
Harvesting method: Manual, of Selected Bunches. Period: towards the end of September. Slow grape withering in the Drying Room until January.
Vinification: Crushing and Pressing of de-stemmed dry grapes in January. Fermentation at a controlled temperature of 25°C. Maceration of the must for 30 days in contact with the skins, with daily Pumping-over. Malo-lactic fermentation.
Ageing: The wine is aged in oak barriques for 24 months. It is then left to mature for at least further 18 months in the bottle before sale.
Yield: 20 hl/Ha.
Analytical data: Alcohol content 17.0%, Residual reducing sugars 8 g/l, Total acidity 5.6 g/l, pH 3.5, Net dry extract 36 g/l.
